报告摘要:One of the most important unsolved problems in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is understanding the phase structure of QCD and the nature of phase transition between ordinary hadronic matter and the deconfined state of quark-gluon plasma taking place at extreme temperatures exceeding trillions of Kelvin. This is a non-perturbative problem, and lattice QCD provides a non-perturbative approach to solving it using stochastic methods. It has been noted by Pisarski and Wilczek quite some time ago that the order of QCD phase transition and the transition temperature crucially depends on the number of light quark flavors and the value of quark masses, the quark mass dependence is summarized in the so-called Columbia plot. In this talk, I will discuss the recent studies of the QCD phase structure for (2+1)-flavor and 3-flavor dynamical quark flavors at finite temperature from the lattice QCD simulations with the non-chiral and chiral fermions.
报告人介绍:张瑜, 2021年博士毕业于华中师范大学粒子物理研究所,师从丁亨通教授。博士毕业至今在日本理化学研究所做博士后。主要研究方向为:利用从第一性原理出发的格点量子色动力学理论来研究强相互作用物质的相结构。
